Shim steel is used to plug small gaps or spaces between objects and are usually used to support, modify for better fit, or provide an even surface.
Our Shim Steel is specifically rolled to precision tolerances and used predominantly for automobile and truck axle shims, tool and die alignment purposes and arbor spacers. Such processes where its specific properties of hardness and accurate thickness throughout is essential.
